Getting set up with a Hart Walker System

On the first visit, the candidate is assessed as to whether they are appropriate for the device, or if it is something that the family is interested in. If appropriate, measurements are taken for clinical records and proper device set up.

At the second visit, candidates are fit for their trial 'walk'. If the candidate, family and team are satisfied with the trial results, a Hart Walker System is then ordered (after insurance approval or financial obligation is established).

In three- four weeks, the new system is ready to take home!

During the final fitting for delivery, families are trained on the use and care of the system. Clients are then scheduled to come back for periodic follow up visits to ensure their progression, determine the need for walker modifications and to document any clinical changes that may occur.
